Piggyback off Donnie AND D....... with my thoughts blended in.....
I'm married but I've always worked on me first. I wanted to make sure I was together before I even thought about writing my list and then I reworked it when I found out what "he" was looking for and whether I could live up to it or not. Prior to getting married I dated some guys who were really nice but I knew I couldn't live up to their expectations of me. Men who put too much emphasis on looks were scratched off the list because beauty fades and I wasn't about to get involved with someone so shallow who would dump me for a newer model.

Personally I don't have a list or a type. When I come across what I like I know it and pursue it or at least flirt my butt off so he can pursue me. I'm not in for sport dating so if from jump I can't see you being someone I can stick with long term its not worth wasting both of our times.
Just because I know I may not be the perfect catch doesn't mean I'm not working on me nor does it mean i'm willing to settle for someone that cannot elevate me-as we all know the saying goes: "I can do bad all by myself!"
Actually Michelle you have said a mouth full

After reading all these post I beginning to wonder am I the ONLY person who didn't have a list? I promise the last time I did a list I was probaly in junior high. And the ONLY reason I did one then was because me and my homegirls were doing the "When I grow up and get married game".
The ONLY major factor I have always had is to not date a brotha with more kids then me, and once my son reached "16" I refuse to date anyway who had elementary age children.

The types of men I've dated in the past have run the full spectrum...I don't see the point in limiting myself.
